US Endoscopy announces full market release of the AquaShield® system CO2 – Fujinon

MENTOR, OHIO — JUNE 20, 2017 — US Endoscopy, a leader in endoscopy device design and manufacturing, today announced the release of the AquaShield® system CO2 – Fujinon. This new line item joins the existing AquaShield® system portfolio of disposable water bottle cap solutions.

The AquaShield® system offers an alternative option to reprocessing reusable water bottle systems and helps minimize the risk of cross-contamination between patients. The 24-hour use system is used in conjunction with an air or CO2 source to supply sterile water to an endoscope during gastrointestinal procedures.

“The introduction of the AquaShield® system CO2 – Fujinon completes our portfolio of disposable water bottle systems available for Olympus, Pentax and Fujinon endoscope users,” says Tony Siracusa, vice president and general manager of US Endoscopy. “This new line extension now allows our Fujinon Customers the ability to purchase a disposable water bottle cap from US Endoscopy.”
