What one word best describes US Endoscopy today?
Why do you think this word describes us today:
Innovation can be witnessed in all aspects of our business today. Whether it is the new products that we design that solve problems in the field, the process of how we manufacture our products, or the programs that make US Endoscopy a "Great Place to Work." Innovation is exemplified in everything we do.
What is your most memorable moment at US Endoscopy?
My most memorable moment at US Endoscopy was my first Weatherhead 100 Awards dinner in 2005. It was great to see the humble pride and professionalism our employees showed and a genuine appreciation for being recognized by this reputable organization for successful Northeast Ohio businesses. This drove a desire to be there again and again.
What sets our company apart from the rest?
Our People and our Culture set US Endoscopy apart from other businesses. We are not only surrounded by talented individuals that have the credentials and pedigree required to do their jobs well and drive and grow our progressive business but these people are some of the nicest individuals you would ever meet. They truly believe in mutual respect and are socially aware of their coworkers and their individual presence. This unified culture allows US Endoscopy to perform at a higher level and excel when other businesses may struggle.

What one word best describes US Endoscopy today?
Why do you think this word describes us today?
We are "actively" working on several levels within the organization to deliver products to customers. From a clinical and development perspective, we are "actively" listening to our customers and the market for unmet clinical needs. We are "actively" responding to those unmet clinical needs by developing new products. We are "actively" testing to confirm that the new products that we're developing do, in fact, satisfy those unmet needs and provide clinical benefits to our customers. From a manufacturing and sales perspective, we're also "actively" focused on improving our manufacturing abilities and capabilities so that we can deliver reliable products to customers and provide on time delivery that meets our customers' expectations.
What is your most memorable moment at US Endoscopy?
Actually, the moment happened early on and repeats itself almost daily. I was in a cross functional team meeting, listening to several talented and competent people from different departments within the company address issues on a new project, and was struck by the level of complexity that the company faces in developing, obtaining marketing clearance, manufacturing, and selling not just one, but numerous medical devices in different markets throughout the world. Regardless of whether it's a small company or a large company, it takes a lot of coordinated effort by a lot of people to launch a new product and deliver it to customers.
What sets our company apart from the rest?
At the end of the day, it all starts and ends with the people we hire. We look for good people who are capable of developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others, who don't take themselves too seriously, who are committed to doing their best and who aren't afraid to learn and grow.

What one word best describes US Endoscopy today?
Why do you think this word describes us today?
The company is constantly growing and on many fronts…our employee population, our product offerings, and our people, as they learn, develop new skills and take on more responsibility.
What is your most memorable moment at US Endoscopy?
In 2007, we went across the country on our "road trip". In less than a week, we met with each sales region and presented a vision of what the sales organization would be at US Endoscopy. We asked for their commitment and trust. Over the years that have followed, it has been amazing to see our sales force become a competitive advantage, and the vision that was presented during that trip become reality.
What sets our company apart from the rest?
Our positive, compassionate and growth-oriented corporate culture.

Why do you think this word describes us today?
Our focus is to provide products that address customer needs and improve clinical outcomes-being open and responsive to the industry needs is how we ensure that we are empathic and that our execution is razor sharp.
What is your most memorable moment at US Endoscopy?
Boston Live is an event where video feeds of live cases are displayed in a large room full of endoscopists while an expert panel comments about the proceedings. It was particularly memorable the first time I witnessed our products being successfully used in this type of group setting and hearing key opinion leaders acknowledge what a difference our products made.
What sets our company apart from the rest?
We don't rest. We are tirelessly looking for new product ideas that are not merely novel, but evocative and relevant, as we continue working to make our current offerings better.
